My Process
Exciting, engaging, seamless and unique. Those are the things I strive for when creating a new sequence. I aim for brand new effects that no one else has come up with yet, and let each song's lyrics guide me each step of the way. I spend over 100 hours on each sequence to get each detail, effect, and prop to look just right both individually and for the entire layout.
How it Started
I began my sequencing work when the XATW group opened up for sequencers to submit their own options to the project. I was overwhelmed with the support I received for my 2023 submission of 'Kid on Christmas' and have since released HD models & Moving Heads for that same sequence. That same year, I released 4 other sequences that I dubbed the XATW rejects. These were the remaining selections that were voted on in 2023, but did not receive as many votes as Kid on Christmas. My personal vote was among one of these 4, and that sequence has gone on to be my best selling sequence.
My skills have developed quite a bit since 2023 and I have added props to my store layout each year. I have several friends that also have xLights shows and I use their layouts alongside mine to test each and every sequence before release. Testing against real life layouts has taught me to make sequences that import very easily to any house layout, to verify that everything looks great no matter how big or small your layout is, and to modify anything that doesn't look quite right before release.
The Moving Head Difference
The biggest flex I have is that I do not do moving heads like any other vendor (that I am currently aware of). I sequence against every single moving head individually (not as a group). Doing this not only gives me the benefit of flexible sequencing of timing and dimming, but also allows any single moving head in my layout to easily map to any moving head in any layout. My moving head Fixture #1 can be mapped directly to your moving head Fixture #5 and it just works. No fiddling with layouts, no changing fixture numbers, channels, or any other property. I jokingly call them the 4 D's of Moving Heads - Drag, Drop, renDer, Done!
Lifetime Updates
One added bonus you get is when you purchase one of my sequences, you get lifetime updates for free. If I add moving heads, you get them free. If I add new HD props, you get them. More lyrics and singers, yours absolutely free. If xLights software updates and something doesn't look right, I will release an update to remedy those issues.
