inter show lights

I'm sure this is a simple one

I have two Mega trees and a matrix. I have setup three sequences with Xlights lights, absolutely fine that play on the hour for 15min. Between the shows I would like the Mega trees to twinkle, would this need to be a sequence on repeat or is there a more efficient way of doing this ?

I believe the easiest way would be to create an animation where they twinkle, and just set that to repeat.
