Ai created sequences

Hello, I use ChatGPT to create colors for a sequence based off the song. Because I am terrible at figuring out when particular colors should be presented.

Here is an example of Silent Night that it gives me.

Let’s craft a beautiful RGB color palette for "Silent Night"—capturing its serene, holy, and wintery vibes. I imagine a combination of soft, peaceful colors with a hint of festive charm. Here’s a suggested RGB palette:

  • Midnight Blue— for the calm, silent night sky
    • RGB: 25, 25, 112
  • Soft Silver— to evoke the twinkling stars
    • RGB: 192, 192, 192
  • Candlelight Gold— for the warm glow of candles and hope
    • RGB: 255, 223, 186
  • Evergreen— a nod to Christmas trees and nature
    • RGB: 34, 139, 34
  • Snow White— pure and peaceful, like fresh snow
    • RGB: 245, 245, 245
Would you like me to fine-tune the shades or add a pop of a bolder festive color, like a deep red or a richer gold? Let me know if we want to lean more towards traditional or modern vibes!

As far as using creative elements, I haven't figured out a way to do this yet. I have made a few sequences and so far, I am happy with the colors it provides. Hopefully others will chime in.

Yeah I wrote this question while chat gpt was stringing me along telling me that it was creating a sequence, even telling me that it was uploading it to a file sharing site. Waited for 5 hrs it kept telling me 5-10 more minutes just testing to make sure download link works. It finally told me wasn’t allowed to do direct uploads lol. The color shaders and color recommendations are pretty cool. Seem to be useful.

I'm in the same boat, been working with ChatGPT 4o for a couple days now. Tons of great info and feedback, and actually once provide a new xsqz file, but this new file was the same as I provided it. Says it made a sequence but nothing was added. I've been coping the entire conversation up till today, see attached for some lite reading (only 12 pages so far )
And yes, ChatGPT is still working on this. Will continue to update as this goes along.

I would say there will be a couple of copy rights blocks in place ?
if it was to make you a full sequence it would need to add a song and that's were it'd trip up

"generate" and "import" are very handy words to use

Iv'e been playing with AI for while and must say I'm somewhat unimpressed. To get an AI model to build a Xlights sequence based on your inputs is currently not possible, at least from what I have seen.
However, I did find some AI help ... I uploaded a built Xlights sequence (xml format, but I had to change the extension to .txt") and asked AI to analyze the sequence and provide recommendations.
It did correctly identify that I had way too many color palettes and recommended merging them into fewer. It even provided the the code to relace in the sequence to accomplish this .... but is failed to then go back through all the effects and change the palette assignments, so the resulting sequence crashed upon loading.
AI seem to be very good at analyzing a known song (cannot upload an mp3, but is the song is common and known to the LLM) and making recommendations on the effects to apply and the time within the song they should go .... although without the actual timing track, these would be guessimates.
