Hi all, this will be my first year trying to use xlights.
Right now, I’m trying to create a small Christmas light show with 5v LED’s, both with and without music. I have 6 windows on my balcony (interior) to create the show. The show will be limited, as I’m still quite new to creating this.
I’m reasonably knowledgeable with regards to WLED. Setting up the LED’s to work with WLED, as well as setting up models etc. in WLED. I have a basic grasp of Xlights, but am still learning. I’d like to eventually have the shows running through Xlights. I’m more than capable when dealing with wiring up the lights.
I have false window frames created and working, and I also have curtains created in wled. The window frames are made up of 5v RGBIC WS2812B 30 leds per meter strips. The curtains will be used as matrix with WS2812B LED chain 176 leds. Power injection at each end of the strips and curtains (matrix) seems to be working ok.
Each frame and curtain are controlled individually with their own esp32.
I know I should have gone for 12v, but it’s to late for this year lol.
My problem is this. I can run all lights through Wled without any problems, but when I set up a matrix in xlights I have this problem (see images)
I’ve attached as many images as I can in the hope someone will spot the problem and show me the aha moment. If I can get just one matrix up and running through Xlights, I’ll be able to deal with the rest (hopefully). Any help will be truly appreciated as it’s driving me insane
