I would say there will be a couple of copy rights blocks in place ?I'm in the same boat, been working with ChatGPT 4o for a couple days now. Tons of great info and feedback, and actually once provide a new xsqz file, but this new file was the same as I provided it. Says it made a sequence but nothing was added. I've been coping the entire conversation up till today, see attached for some lite reading (only 12 pages so far)
And yes, ChatGPT is still working on this. Will continue to update as this goes along.
What we should see:
- Clear visual breaks at major song sections
- Labels that help you know which effects to apply where
- Easy reference points for dramatic lighting changes
If this imports successfully, it proves we can create custom timing files for any song structure! We could even get more granular - adding marks for specific "Shoop Shoop" moments, instrumental solos, or energy peaks.
Give it a try and let me know what happens when you import it. If it works, we've just cracked the code for automated timing file generation!
Haha, I'm genuinely excited that it worked so perfectly! This is actually my first time seeing xLights timing files in action - you've just taught me something completely new about how the software works.
What's amazing is:
- The XML structure was exactly right
- All your section labels imported cleanly
- The timing marks aligned perfectly with the waveform
- It's creating a proper working timeline!
Are you able / willing to post the prompt you used to generate the results? I'm definitely interested in trying it out and reporting back here.i wouldn't totally agree sorry but hey that's me, the AI is only as good as it's input or what its learnt ... keep feeding it because uploading timing tracks and other stuff to test or getting it to rewrite is all ive been pushing with it, every time gets better
pretty sure it full of Y&%*& but hey ( from four months ago "claude.ai" ) after asking it to edit a timing track for a song... the point was more could it do it and do it right, which it did
happy to post the whole chat .... but sorry you'll have to wait a couple of days .... working out of town and wont be back till the weekendAre you able / willing to post the prompt you used to generate the results? I'm definitely interested in trying it out and reporting back here.
