“A Light to Lead You Home” is an original cinematic Christmas duet about being apart, finding your way home, and leaving a light on for someone who needs it.
The sequence starts intimate and builds into a full orchestral finale with piano, cello, electric guitar, big percussion, choir, and plenty of opportunities for large display-wide effects. The three matrices are used to help tell the story throughout the song, but they are not required to make the sequence work on your display.
A quick note about mapping:
Don’t be intimidated by the number of effects shown in the import list! Many are single effects on individual submodels and are there for extra detail—they won’t make or break the overall sequence.
I recommend sorting the import list by # Effects (highest to lowest). Concentrate on the models/groups with more than 2 effects first, and you’ll have the majority of what you need for the sequence to come together. From there, map as much or as little of the remaining detail as makes sense for your display.
As always, feel free to adapt it, change it, and make it work with your own layout.
